Project: Walk Cycle
Although the rig is indeed walking, there are errors that draw the eye and prevent the rig from maintaining a smooth walk cycle. First off, the legs are far too straight in a few frames, preventing it from being an accurate walk cycle. This seems to be the only problem, side-view wise. However, from a front-view perspective, more errors come into play. The chest is pretty stationary and shows no real sign of movement. The torso and hips also have little to no movement.
Despite the errors listed above, there were high points in the walk cycle. The knees aligned well with the feet. The arms were also captured exceptionally well. Overall, the walk cycle could do for some improvement, especially the legs. The student should also put attention towards more movement of the chest and torso to improve the accuracy of the reference footage.
